Home is the anchor of our lives, the matrix where we regain strength, where we take shelter, where we stand as we are, out of sight, where we make decisions to launch ourselves into the world. 

 

It is a stable place when everything else moves. It is our heritage, what belongs to us, our inalienable part of the world. From childhood, we dream of huts. I come from the countryside, I grew up on a farm, my house was the bright spot when night fell, where I shelter, where I dreamed, where I imagined my future. I wanted to live in Paris, I was fascinated by the big city, the millions of lives it hosts, the beauty of the buildings built with bare hands, the silhouettes shadowing the apartments. 

 

I became a notary, I practiced for ten years, working in Parisian offices. I was passionate about my profession, about being at the heart of the great moments in life, the ones where bonds are tied and untied. 

 

The acquisition, preservation and transmission of houses were at the heart of the debates because houses are also stories. I am passionate about stories, I like to hear them, I like to tell them because I am also a published novelist. 

 

When we enter a house, it tells us a story, about those who lives there, about the ones who lived there before, those who built it. It is through stories that my two passions come together: writing and real estate. 

 

It is through stories that I approach real estate.
